Scott Hosie
R. Scott Hosie, CPO
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Scott graduated from the Certificate Program in Prosthetics and Orthotics, University of California, Los Angeles in 1985. He joined Motion Control, Inc. later that year and spent several years with Motion Control, fitting complex upper and lower extremity prostheses.
Scott then worked in a variety of clinical settings including Loma Linda University Medical Center, California, a partner in his own practice in Eureka, California, and most recently as the Assistant Director of Prosthetics and Orthotics at Shriners Hospital for Children, Salt Lake City, Utah. His career came full circle when he returned to Motion Control as the Clinical Educator in 2012.
In his free time, Scott lives in the Salt Lake valley to take advantage of the Wasatch Mountains’ world-class ski resorts, and the fly fishing opportunities of the west.
