Director of Product Development and Education, Fillauer
Sam Hale
Sam has a BS Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and began his career as a production and R&D engineer in Kimberly Clark’s Cooperative Program. He transitioned into prosthetics and orthotics after realizing that there were more meaningful ways to utilize his love for designing mechanical devices than designing manufacturing equipment. He went back to Georgia Tech and received his MS in Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2006. He was a practitioner in Augusta, GA and Spartanburg, SC until 2013 when he joined Fillauer where he is the Director of Product Development and Education. Sam is a licensed CPO and continues to see patients, develop new products, and provide educational content for Fillauer.
